...it was in response to DJ mentioning the group and song in her most recent post....

Yes. Thanks Scott. In the TV show, Shrinking, Paul suggests putting on a song every day for 15 mins that makes you cry deep.

    This is mine.

  •  New season of Shetland has begun and it started off strong.
The actress who plays Tosh was pregnant during filming -- about six months by the end. I read an interview where she talked about how they had to adjust her costume and hide her behind things to disguise that!

  • We enjoyed Your Friend, the new comedy special from Nate Bargatze on Netflix. He has a droll delivery and a family-friendly style that we liked.

If you just discovered him, he has many stand-up specials across the streamers (mostly netflix I think ) and many short YouTubes from the beginning of his career.
He’s also hosted SNL twice and does a great George Washington. 🤣I adore Nate.

  • Britbox — Inside No. 9– The Party’s Over

a doc of sorts talking about the end of 9 seasons of one of the best short story tv shows.

Two of the most creative and imaginative writers ever. Just brilliant.

I read she was sad about stopping, but wanted to have a free summer after 14 years? Wow. Her biggest concern is all the workers on the series finding jobs. I love that she did take them into her thoughts.

Vera will only be 2  episodes. The second and final was okay. I wish it would’ve had a little sumpin sumpin to it, but it was okay.

I’d like the series to continue under the rest of the team, rebranded. Maybe titled — Joe.

    🤓🙂

  • Apple + free weekend. Go binge Bad Sisters! Or Shrinking! Ted Lasso! Hijack! Bad monkey! Severance!

  • Watched the first season of Sherwood (6 episodes) yesterday. Mysterious man with a bow shots at people from a distance. The motive seems to reach back in time. Good but not great. It makes a big difference in pace when police officers are unarmed from the more actionpacked police series from the states.

  • The second season is even grittier but I agree...good but not great.

I watched this twice recently. He's hilarious. I love raunchy comedy as much as the next guy, but sometimes clean comedy is pretty refreshing.

  • Watched season 1 of Departure, a britishcanadian thing that starts with a plane going down and vanishing. Why? How? Also the investigation is pressured to take into consideration political considerations. 6 episodes, Archie Punjabi (dont be fooled by the name its a woman) and Christopher Plummer in the leads. Suspense and twists abound. I liked it.

  • Finished Shrinking. I loved every single character and cried like no one was watching because no one was.

“The villain of your story is just someone who did something really bad.”

I knew this wasn’t quite right. Correction:

”The villain of your story is just a person who made a big mistake. “

Working on Severance still in preparation for season 2.

I really love this.  It’s challenging. I want to recommend this to people but I’m just not sure the people I know would stick with it. It’s a very methodical, slow build.

Curiosity. A person has to be genuinely curious.
