  • Oh snap. The end of episode 7 of severance — i completely forgot that major ass reveal. So glad I am rewatching this.

  • Vera will only be 2  episodes. The second and final was okay. I wish it would’ve had a little sumpin sumpin to it, but it was okay.

I’d like the series to continue under the rest of the team, rebranded. Maybe titled — Joe.

    🤓🙂
Where did you see the second episode? Only one is showing up for me on Amazon.

  • We started watching "From" and are a few episodes in, it's not really holding me. Is it worth persevering?

    I love the show -- it's very Lost-ish. I haven't watched season 3 yet, though.

Lost definitely comes to mind. Thanks Bev.

I’ve gotten to watch the first 3 episodes of From twice as free watches, but then it wasn’t available to me.  So, i was interested and wanted to finish the series, but the interest faded.

Spending the day watching Graham Norton’s Best Bits on Netflix. I seriously love this guy.

The thing about Shetland is that everyone on the flipping island becomes a suspect at least for a moment during every case!

Yeah, he's great. One of the few things I regret about giving up cable is that we don't get to watch his show any more without subscribing to another service. We should give this one a watch.

I think the first episode we saw was when David Tennant on as Doctor Who. They did this thing where they set up a TARDIS next to the London Eye and waited for someone to get into it, then they brought it to the show. It's hilarious.

That was a pathetically small pour of wine Tosh got at the end of episode 6.

I’m in the same boat. Dropped cable and now try to find Graham in the wild.

That was fun, thanks for sharing it. I love when people can just have a laugh and The Proclaimers were an added bonus!

There is a lot of damn muuurder in these sleepy villages and on islands across Europe/carribean—   Hamlets of death.

I haven't watched any of the earlier seasons so I don't know the characters very well. Based on this final season, Joe seems a little lackluster. And Vera is very grouchy at the start of the final episode! I'm only 20 minutes in, though.

I’ve watched them all and she is a disagreeable bitch 80 % of the time.  As you learn her story, you see she comes by it honestly but it does get very tedious, especially when she prickles against those emotions and kindnesses she finds weak and a waste of her time. Give it a rest, lady.

You Can’t Say That — Netflix Four seasons. Australian

Now, this is really an eye opener. I think everyone should watch this. Fascinating, funny, sad, enlightening.

I have always been a person who if someone reveals something about themselves, to me, that is a free pass to ask questions. Why tell that or open the door with your own words and actions and then be upset when someone pursues it to understand who you are and your situation?  I have gotten hammered for being curious and inquisitive.

No malicious intent is ever part of my questions. I want to learn and understand and make a connection.  If I don’t ask questions, well, that means you have not put forth the vibe that you are open to them.

Some really interesting categories of people: swingers, little people, facial disfigurements, BDSM, Carneys/Showpeople, alcoholics, disaster survivors, cult members , eating disorders — so many groups honestly answering viewers questions.

    Watch a few.

  • Missing You, Netflix.

Another Harlan Coben thriller. Richard Armitage LOVES working on Harlan’s stuff.  He’s in almost all — if not all — his adaptations. I wonder what the story with that is???
