  • My weekend is full.

New episodes of Elsbeth, Matlock, severance and Father Brown.

Season finale of Dexter original Sin.
Two Episodes of Season 3 Yellowjackets.

I could have all of these easily watched today but I mustn’t. No. I just cannot.

  • I'm not sure I'm ready for Yellowjackets. I feel like I don't remember enough about what happened in S2.

I’m going to watch the last two from last season, I think that should be enough to get me back in their world.

I absolutely loved the opening to Elsbeth this week. Loved everything about it.

A very handsome man —playing the mandolin no-less — is in Scottland watching a live cam in New York.  An art installation where people in both places can watch each other in real time.

Angus is a people watcher as am I as many of you know, I watch an Earthcam in ireland at Temple Bar.  I am always hoping to tune into something taking place. (I do think I saw Sinead O’Connor’s son run through the streets about 20 minutes before he committed suicide. I think he killed himself close — or I just put two random things together to make a story)

Well this guy witnesses a girl dying (murdered) in the middle of the day, surrounded by people.  He and Elsbeth are charmingly going to solve this case.

  • I am in love. The Scottish guy on Elsbeth.

    Ioan Gruffad.
Dana Gruffad.  It works. Ioan, call me.

I read an article a while back about people doing something rude at one end of those live cam portal things and was thinking I'd write a story with a similar idea to the one you mention above. Guess I'll have to cross that one off the list!

Have you seen the episode yet? Twice a day something happens and the Scottish guys show up for it. 😄

That's the sort of thing that happened in the real world, and the reason why it was shut down.

Well, while it worked for the show (love Elsbeth’s reaction), it’s a bummer that it was used dumbly in real life.

I started watching the Earthcam back on the SKMB when my niece and her husband went to Ireland. Missed her on the Dublin cam but caught her in Galway. She waved at me and I knew she was okay.  It’s a great way for people to avoid expensive calls or texts.  (Is it expensive now?)

it was fun, a moment. We were far away from each other, but I had a moment with her in a country I will never see.

    SNL 50 - Homecoming Concert

enjoyed this so much. Three hours of variety in music.

I sang, danced, cleaned my house, painted another wall while I had it on.

Post Malone did a fantastic! job with Smells like Teen Spirit. So good.

Cher looked crazy good — 78 years old. Fuck me! I look like a dried up beetle turd and I’m way younger than her!!!

  • Landman has so many funny, quotable lines, most of them from Billy Bob Thornton's character, but Colm Feore (Linoge from Storm of the Century) gets off a few good ones, too.

  • Watched Clickbait, a 2021 netflix dramathriller in 8 episodes. Many twists and turns. I'll say better than average but not one of these great Tv-series that stay in your mind a long time. But definitely worth the watch.

  • Baftas
    All the SNL50 specials.
    Gabby Petito: doc on Netflix
    GNTLGNT
  • Continuing to watch Graham Norton’s Best Bits on Netflix.  I just absolutely adore this man.  Smart, quick, witty, funny and charming as heck.

I hope to never find out if he has been a horrible human this whole time.

Ok. I have started the season finale of Dexter Original Sin.
12:37 in. Heavily focused on Brian. Here is my preciction:

Dexter is going to confront Dr. McDreamy (Captain Spencer) and It’s going to be intense.  There will be a struggle. Dexter will be on the verge of getting killed and brian is going to save him by killing Spencer. And he will be off in the shadows.
Dexter may be unconscious and not know, waking up to slaughter and cops rescuing him and Spencer’s son.  Or, as he heads into unconsciousness, he will see someone as he nods out. The cops may think dexter and Spencer were working together on a lead and they got ambushed. But, the son knows and  will talk it is dad, so that might not play out.
Dexter doesn’t find out about Brian until Harry is gone.  So Brian is gonna watch from the sidelines until the timeline works for that reveal in the original series.

Have errands to run. Will finish it later. Just curious if I get close at all.

  • I guess there's going to be another season, although I'm not sure we really need one.

Of Dexter Original Sin?  I’ve really enjoyed OS.

I know that there is a season of Dexter with MCH coming back this summer.

  • Yes, there's going to be another Original Sin season, apparently.

  • I was pretty much totally wrong with my predictions. The attack happened and that was all i got right.  Good. I love it when I can’t guess what’s next — keeps me surprised and that’s fun.

As much as I liked OS and loved the cast — I agree with you. Don’t drag it out.

  • My wife and I are really enjoying THE PITT, although one episode a night is about all we can handle.

Good episode. I like the new guy. He has his own quirks but he’s got his vulnerable soft side— as they all have had— that endears me to each of them. I’ve followed each one thinking I couldn’t possibly love the new one like the old one. Not true.

I was surprised by the murder victim in this one. I didn’t expect them to go there.
