  • Netflix.  The first couple of episodes were enjoyable, I will wait to see how it goes.

  • Douglas is Cancelled on Britbox, starring Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey) and Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) from Steven Moffat (Doctor Who) -- A TV presenter is accused of making a sexist joke at a family wedding and social media erupts. Could be interesting.

This is a tough watch, especially the third of four episodes. The tension is almost unbearable. And yet I think it's important for people to see how these situations play out.

As Mr. Rogers said, “look for the helpers.”

In Douglas is Cancelled, that is why Madeline went after who she did. The person she looked up to walked away, knowing and not helping.  The hurt she felt and harbored was stronger than her fear and disgust of a little man.

She handled the pig, she expected it and was prepared.  The other disappointed her and left her to a predator — and that was worse.

Every guy out there, it’s not some bro code to let men prey on women while you walk away. Be better! Do something. And raise your fucking dumbass sons to be REAL men.

And this goes for every woman out there too. Don’t sit back and allow someone to go into a vulnerable and questionable situation. Get them out.  Keep them safe.

    So fucking gross.

    Severance.

Did Burt send Irving to safety, or his doom?  Walken just leaves you guessing. I can NOT get a read on him. One second I think one way, the next, completely opposite.

We damn well better get some answers in the finale because my outtie will burn Kier down to the ground with my pouting and indignation.

Devour feculence indeed if they don’t give me a little sumpin’ sumpin’.

  • Walken and Turturro are great friends in real life. I love their scenes together. I'm guessing the former rather than the latter, in terms of your question.

The finale is going to be 74 or 76 minutes long.

I’ve watched a number of youtubes with them and they’ve been friends forever.  It’s led me to put a number of Turturro directed movies with Walken in them in my queue on Criterion.

  • I’ve got to see the first 5 episodes of Season 3 White Lotus. I will get to see the next episode and then I lose access to Max! There are 8 episodes!   I’ll have to wait till all drop and then I’ll get the Free trial. Ugh. May just have to subscribe.

  • Severance dropped last episode. I am just not wanting this to be over.

  • Wellllll… I’m just not sure how i feel about all that.

I completely followed when innie/outtie shifts were happening and the thought processes that went along with them.

I am so fucking glad that fat controlling demeaning fuck got the captive bolt pistol to the neck and not Emile.

But now what? They better not make us wait too long.

  • Has anyone watched Ludwig? Identical twin (who is a cop) disappears and Puzzle Setter twin assumes his role as a cop to track his missing brother down.

    Britbox has it.

I just love this actress. Uza Aduba. Crazy Eyes from Orange is the New Black and also wonderful in pain killer.

Humorous mystery in the White House.

I must admit i have difficulties imagining her as anyone else than Crazy Eyes.....

  • You should see her in painkiller. She's outstanding in that role. It took me a little bit before I realized she was crazy eyes.

  • I liked but didn't love Adolescence (Netflix). The single-shot episode concept seemed a little gimmicky. Only episode 3 felt natural in that most of it takes place in one room, so there isn't this artificial, drawn out sense of having to move with the camera to set up the next scene. It's an interesting concept, but I don't think it really drilled down very far into bullying.

I'm giving it a shot. The opening montage is intriguing. It's a little bit high on the slapstick scale, so I'm not sure if I'll stick it out. The young doc from THE PITT who keeps having to swap out his scrubs is in it.

OK, I'm on board. I like the "puzzling" aspect of it, and the goofiness is easing a bit.

New episode available. I'm quite getting the hang of it.
