  • I'm glad you've had a nice summer Irish, last year it was awful with lots of rainfall which was terribly depressing. This year has made up for it nicely. 🙂

😮I must educate myself better on Ireland.  I would think the environment would not be welcoming to a hot loving palm.

  • Totally not changing the subject 😜 😁 we have palm trees here too, similar climate.
    NotaroHedda GablerKurbenGNTLGNTMarshaNeesy
  • Now, new zealand strikes me as a much hotter climate that a palm would do okay in.

    I must investigate.🤔

What is the positioning of both countries from the equator?  And how much is the length of compatible weather for palms in each?   How does northern barometric readings differ from southern monthly ? What is the positioning of the earth on its axis in relationship to the sun and what is the tilt measurements for each country?  How many days annually does their weather/ celsius numbers mimic the other ?   Do we have a month where climate is exactly the same and after that, vastly different for the other 11 months?

If a flower cries when it dies and no one is there to hear, does that mean it didn’t happen ?

Okay, this is interesting — those aren’t  really palm trees, they are a native plant from new zealand!!!!! Very interesting !

“Most of the trees that are called "palm trees" in Ireland, which grow in the gardens all over, are actually Cordyline Australis, a New Zealand tree. They are not palm trees, but are often called palm trees. They are frost hardy and grow in gardens all over the south. They do give a tropical look to the garden.”

  • I'll take some photos of our trees next time I'm out with my client.  There are some that make me feel like I'm walking through a Dr. Seuss story every time we pass them.
