i had 3 long, people sized garden boxes in an open area of my yard, rocks and stepping stones around them. Very manicured and lovely. But, i got to the point i could no longer maintain them so i yanked them out. It left 3 long dirt areas that honest to god looked like freshly dug graves. Especially from the air, i wondered what that must look like and I actually thought about getting 3 halloween tombstones for them. Freak out the sprinkler and yard maintenance people.
