    I don't think it's necessarily down Scott, the river has changed its course a little after the last heavy rains. I think it's deeper than normal, the extra stones may just be camera pointing/perspective.

    ...I think it's the way the channel is split now, is what gave me the impression.....all is well as long as the furfaces have their splash zone....

    August here has been so far up and down, as is the usual with swedish summers, but a relatively steady temp of 19-20 C with some days when we have got a small taste of the rains that caused floods on the continent. Not as severe, flooded streets and basements on some locations but nothing like floating cars and casualties.

    It does doesn't it? It's just the late afternoon sun bathing the trees in golden light. (and I think those yellow ones might actually be tiny flowers.. I'll check next time I'm down there)
