    Exactly... which is why our hospitals are rife this year with respiratory infections in the young and old after lockdowns and lowered exposure to viruses.

    Tonight I was feeling a bit lazy - made a meat loaf with ground turkey mixed with ground beef - it turned out very good

    Went out and bought some beets - apparently they are good for your blood iron? - Going to make a nice borscht with the beets and some shredded cabbage

    Okay - enough already lol

    That beet soup was pretty good - it was a Russian borscht recipe. Josh and I ate it as Andy says he doesn't like borscht. He had scrambled eggs with toast and baked beans.

    So I tried a new recipe from Chatelaine - it's basically Irish Cream but they call it Homemade Whisky Cream liqueur


    Wow - it's good! I used Crown Royal Canadian whiskey and I'm storing it in the fridge. Just have to shake it up a bit before using
