Scott, you guys weren’t part if the tornado  mess, were you?

Touched base with ghost, he’s good.
    Where were they?
Heard from PITH - he is ok. Too close for comfort.
    https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/11/weather/severe-weather-tornadoes-saturday/index.html

More than 30 tornadoes have been reported in at least six states, including Missouri, Tennessee and Mississippi. A stretch of more than 250 miles from Arkansas to Kentucky might have been hit by one violent, long-track twister, CNN meteorologists say.
"I'm pretty sure that number (killed in Kentucky) is north of 70 ... it may, in fact exceed 100 before the day is done," Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said late Saturday morning. "The level of devastation is unlike anything I have ever seen."
Oh my God.. 🥺 please tell Pat I'm so relieved he's all right.

Is this near Scott? My U. S geography is shocking.
Cking the path and map, it should have missed Scott.
      Will pass message onto Pat.
System - line of T storms, not as strong, is still heading toward the east coast.
      Concernss for Holly, KFF, Sunny.

I think he lives in Ohio...  In that case he should be north of the worst. But i'm unsure too about U.S. geography.......

....high winds, but no tornadic activity in our county, thanks for checking....I don't own red and white striped socks-and if I did, my feet are too big to roll up under a house....

        • ...that is beautiful Irish!...I'm glad old Pat the Hatster is still ticking along...I miss him terribly...yes, I live in Ohio, the only documented one I've seen confirmed here happened in the NW part of the state, while I live in the SE....I grieve for the devastation and loss in Kentucky.... :(

        • Seriously -- A/C on one day, heat the next, then back to A/C. It's 50 today but will be back to the 80s in a few days.

          Windy, windy, windy here. 🌬

Between a fresh breeze and hurricane in area.

          From wind alert...
WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

        • We have gone above 0 C here today so a lot of snow is melting; there is no wind chill at all so it is unseasonably warm up here!

        • We've had torrential rain and flooding, but this morning, there is this... (Of course a tropical cyclone is supposed to be blowing by this afternoon, good on ya NZ 🙄)

        • Over 80 again today -- which is okay. I can have my office window open while I work and we can eat dinner outside at our favorite pizza place this evening!
