    Aww, Pat had a birthday not too long ago, I missed it this year as I'm just not doing the ol' Eff Bee very much these days. 
    I miss pat’s smarts and humor.  He gave me one of the nicest compliments.  When his momma was alive, he would chuckle over some dumbass thing i said and his momma would ask what he was laughing about. And he would tell her and she’d  laugh too.  It made me smile I gave them a shared, silly moment together.

    Last door in upstairs. Not a great pic but living room is done. I still need to stain all the jambs. Probably tomorrow. And start getting dishes back in hutches. I will take another pic when that is all done. Next up is the kitchen...paint, install new microwave and new blind in the window and new trim. We have done the lighting and the faucet already and new fridge is here.

    ...Cat, that work looks great m'dear.....our house is slowly getting it's exterior facelift...will post some pics when it comes closer to fruition....all I know is, the sunshine yellow that has been on this house since 1964 is going bye-bye...my dad loved the shade and every repaint he got as close to it as he could......never liked it, but I'm not dishonoring him by changing because he gave us his blessing several years ago to make our own changes....just wish he could be here to see....

    By the way, have you read The Web by John Wyndham? If you don't like spiders, or if you like them, thats the SF-novel to read. I prefer it to The Incredible Shrinking Man and several others because the spiders are very real, not in the least incredible......

    No Kurben I have read a couple of Wyndham but have not read The Web, I'll keep an eye out for it when I'm in the city next.

    They sometimes keep one leg raised when they're resting Flakes, I'd say it's probably tucked in there somewhere. 🤔
