Every damn band wants to be a commercial success and if they try to tell you otherwise, they are lying.  I guess it’s easy to be some moral asshat when you are sitting on a pile of money with no worries. Then it’s easy to say “i did it for my art” when you have a squad of hires that do all the heavy lifting.  Pretentious as all get out. 

    2. They were signed to a heavy metal record label.  That IS problematic.  Somebody didn’t read the room. 

    3.  They were a Colin Quinn joke.  Okay, just because someone or something gets to be a punchline of a joke doesn’t mean they are musically bad. 

    4. The lead singer was unlikeable and not attractive. Once again, are you kidding me. Being a trollish douche nozzle pretty well guarantees you are a bad ass rocker to be taken seriously. And i don’t think he’s that bad looking.
