    ...we travel a ton of backroads and collect the caterpillars from milkweed leaves.....then she has several; "pens" that she keeps them in and feeds them and we watch them transition....once they are re=born as butterflies, we release them back to the wild....I am proud to say, I now know the difference between fresh and old caterpillar poop as a way to track them on leaves.....

    That's a great way to help the Monarchs survive - did not know one could do this!

    ....yes'm, we get sad when the "kids" leave home.....I think we have about 12 left if all survive....

    ...."had" in some regards.....the girl in the middle is Seth's ex and the fella on the right has been out of the picture for quite some time......funny how things ebb, flow and change-often in the most awkward and unexpected ways....
