    I saw some of Task -it looks great. Bonus -it is set in the area I grew up in.

    Return to Paradise— Britbox. This one set in Australia.

    I enjoyed it because of all the people surrounding Mackenzie, the detective. I just could not bond with her.

    Every Paradise detective has their weird little quirks and I’ve managed to really like them all, except her. 

    I mean, she’s okay, but her stiff movements, robotic bug-eyed deer-in-the-headlights look, detached autism stuff didn’t work for me.  (I hate to dog on her lemur eyes, it’s how she looks in real life I think and I never want to tear someone down for that, but man!  It’s like some praying mantis locked on.) and it would help if she changed her clothes. I’m not sure, but I think she wore the same damn outfit every murder. Because now I’m nitpicking everything.

    I would watch another season because the ensemble cast is great.

    Okay. I have to apologize to Detective Mackenzie. 

    Other Paradise detectives have also had their style, their uniform that they wore every day and I totally accepted it.  I need to give bug eye a chance.

    OK. I made a little break in my Horror watching to see the spy thriller series The Enemy Within. 13 episodes long. Jennifer Carpenter in the lead and she is good. A bit too long and i thought it was a bit unfortunate that they named the archvillain spy master Michael Tal. It is probable unknown to the makers but Michael Tal is one of the best chessplayers to have lived and was world champion in the 60,s known as the magician of Riga. Everytime they mentioned his name i thought of chess which was a distraction. But i enjoyed the series but, as said, it should have edited it to 10 episodes and it would have been better. from 2019. Skyshowtime.
