Started Tony & Ziva. ep 1. I liked it and found i missed these characters since they quit the original show quite a lot.
It's fun to hear them curse, too.

  • Harrow on Hulu is very good.  A pathologist solving crimes.

Lots of very good plot twists, funny ones and serious ones.  Just starting season 2 and I hope they can keep the quality going.

  • Lynley on Britbox -- first episode (of four) is solid. Based on the novels of Elizabeth George.

Also watching this. Slow roll outs on these shows are a pain.

    Do you know which novels??

  • If you look at the episode titles here, I think that’s a good indication. I’m not familiar with her books.

Thank you! They have chosen some of her later novels i see. Personally i prefer her earlier novels which are less wordy and a bit shorter, more focused. But the later ones might very well be better as tv, She is one of these american authors in the crime genre that is so fascinated with the UK that her detective are very english and takes place in the UK. Other examples of that phenomena is John Dickson Carr and Peter Robinson (Canadian really but the principle is the same).

Jesus. What the fuck happened to fashion at the Emmys this year? Yes, I am basing that comment on a small number of people —  I only got to see a handful of outfits and will watch full recap later.  But the 20 or so things I saw, I could style a dishtowel and a squeegee into something better.

  • ....as long as the squeegee was flaunting a "naked look"......
