    She is doing great - has settled in very well and Andy loves her - she is just what he needs right now so I am happy

    Ted's vet visit went well, he was prescribed a couple of meds for minor ailments, I managed to fool him into taking some of his meds before I left for work this morning......but being the considerate husband and father I left the job of applying his eye drops to my wife and daughter.😁

    This little dude gave me a fright a wee while ago, he's recovered now though.



    This little lady is hard to capture on camera...



    And the big two have had fun in the sun, I even had some help to get ready for winter.

    He's in his 16th year and is on meds for thyroid, he had trouble peeing, couldn't produce anything, they thought blocked bladder or kidney failure which his meds can cause.
    He'd eaten a mouse a couple days before and became very ill from that. Turned out kidneys and bladder were fine but electrolytes were low because he'd dehydrated himself after feeling so sick. Couple days of IV fluids and urine check for UTI...and he bounced back. Whew. 

    Little munter was out of the carry cage (still sporting his pressure bandage from the IV, which he wouldn't let me take off) he went out, brought in a bird. Next morning,  another mouse.... fuuuuuuck. 
    Can't you flippin' retire already?!🙄
