    Awwww, do you still have Ms Ziva, Scott?

    a couple months ago, I lost one of my cats. I was his human and I am really missing being someone’s human. I woke up many nights after he died thinking he was there. It was disorienting and maddening. For many, many reasons, I’m struggling with his death and absence. And i’m mad about it. Mad at myself. 

    My other cat, a real asshole who we still have, hated him. On the best of days, the asshole tolerated my gentle boy.  He would sit and lord over us, quietly. My boy was the talker who would come and chat me up, stretchy pawing my face. He kickstarted me into any action. 

    Now that my guy is gone, asshole has realized that he no longer has a stooge to send in to do his dirty work. He has become this needy, pawing, nonstop blabbermouth who will not let it go. He’s always starving, especially at around 3 am, when his big, chubby body decides he really needs a snack. He. Won’t. Shut. Up. 

    He has me trained. 

    He is Linoge. Give him what he wants and he will go away.

    And yes. Asshole is very healthy and spoiled.  but I’m not his human. I’m his Groom of the Stool and kitchen help. 

    Hungry? He knows who to go to. Shits himself? She’ll clean me up. But true affection? Oh man, he loves my son. Embarrasses the hell out of himself fawning all over him. 

    I do love him. You might not think so at 3 in the morning though.

    ....no Deejer, we lost Ms. Ziva a few months ago...she grew ill and we had to give her mercy....hurt like hell as they always do, and we haven't the heart yet to find another pup....still have our 3 asshole cats.....Pink, Jazz and Ringo.....we merely exist to do their bidding.....

     I went to the beach this weekend to see Kris.      I left Harleycat with lots of food and the slider open so she can go in and out.   (She does not have a litterbox, she does her business outside)

    She is not here!    So worried, I am sure she will come strolling in.
