The river was in flood today, took the dogs as far as I could go.

My friends in eastern Canada are getting walloped by Fiona--but it's also cold, 5-10C (40-50F), which is hard to fathom for a hurricane. Lots of trees down and heavy rain.

Spidey here-- been busy getting ready for Ian. I'm just a tad north of Tampa Bay. Tidal/storm surge not an issue for me, but WINDS a big issue. In manufactured house. Still strengthening, and path unpredictable at present until closer to land. Many factor in play. Daughter and I are staying. No gas available/ roads packed. We have supplies. Will lose power and net, so will attempt to stay in touch. Prayers and positive vibes needed.
