  • Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic

What insight this gave to a complicated guy with a tragic life, lucky life.

The Night Stalker.   Boy, this guy was very scary.  And i was pretty disgusted with the news lady that wanted to disclose the Avia shoe clue and basically blackmailed them to keep  it quiet.

and then later, Feinstein blabbed all of this information —  she should be held accountable for deaths that happened after her information dump.

Yeah, they were both, well the newswoman was very unsympathetic (makes one wonder who blabbed about it to her? Wonder if they ever found out?) and the Feinstein woman just seemed stupid as if she didn't understand what she had done.

Yes, that would be interesting to know who told.  It is very disappointing to know people in law enforcement would reveal clues from a criminal case without the thought that they could be aiding and abetting  a murderer.

  • Agree, the news lady was a complete b1tch. I don't give a damn if it was her bread and butter, these were people's lives she was jeopardizing.  She made me sick, along with Feinstein too.

  • I started watching 'American Tradegy' which interviews Sue Kleblold, the mother of one of the shooters at Colmbine. Very interesting.

  • Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel.

  • Watched this, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel. A young girl goes missing in a hotel and police struggle to unravel the mystery. Enjoyed it but the self proclaimed Internet sleuths interviewed here who bombard the Internet with their insane theories were just incredibly annoying and it shows them up for the callous idiots that they are, how they pick on someone and destroy their lives by making stupid assumptions and spreading their malicious gossip across the Internet.

You said it perfectly.  I agree with you 100%.

I saw a thing on the internet that said, "conspiracy theories are for dumb people so they can feel smart."  And that sure applies here.  Now, do I believe people who believe conspiracy theories are dumb?  Not necessarily.  Heavens no! We've all had our conspiracy theory suspicions.  But most people are very very aware that is exactly what they are.

You know the people who get delusional and have cult brains.  Because everything is a conspiracy theory to them and they are scary mo fos.  They make sh*t up to feel important.  What's even more scary, too many people buy into it like sheep.  They don't think for themselves.  Robots.

There is nothing wrong with sleuthing something.  Cold cases are figgered out by staying on the case and following every lead.  But don't just make something up that you could not possibly prove.  You ruin lives.   you don't accuse and ruin someone.  That poor Morbid guy!  The internet sleuths were ruthless to him, and when they accused him, the rest of the world came in to peck him like a bloody chicken.

To me, it was obvious she had mental problems and they contributed to her death.  I don't believe anyone was involved but her.  It's a very sad story.

I definitely understand the creep factor of the Hotel though.  And boy! what a coincidence that LAM Elisa test thing.  That was weird.

  • .....I have seen a number of shows about her death, read several stories and have come to the same conclusion others have.....it was a sad tale of a young woman with mental health problems, who in an effort to feel "normal", took herself off her meds and the subsequent bizarre chain of events are directly traced back to that......

Oh, and just to add --

Can you imagine drinking the hotel water?  That tidbit made me want to vomit for them.  I wonder what diseases they could've caught?  Just the thought is horrifying that they were drinking corpse water. Bathing in corpse juices.  Ugh.

It still gives me the skeeves.

I hope that British couple sued and got so much money to help treat their future corpse related illnesses.

  • I just saw a documentary on the Primates. From BBC. There were more monkeys than i knew that uses tools as a means to get access to food. And others enlist help, one Makak monkey couldnt tell if a big fruit was ripe and edible or not so he waited for a squirrel to get interested and then chased the squirrel away with some hits to the head. The squirrel wasn't happy.

I totally believe dylan farrow.  Woody apparently had counseling for his inappropriate relationship with dylan before all this became  public.   The therapist said that woody did have an inappropriate relationship, but believed it was not sexual.   It’s an ongoing documentary so very interested in the episodes.

I also have absolutely zero trust in woody Allen. I think his exploits in the pedophile range is way bigger than we will ever know. But its just a feeling.

Made You Look — a true story about fake art

this was very good.  I learned  a lot of new terminology related to the art world.

I copy a lot of artists and i have  no training.   The artist in this documentary was a brilliant,  true artist who wasn’t very successful being himself. But, he successfully copied and fooled experts, collectors and critics for years and for millions of dollars — that he didn’t get.  So, how guilty was he? I have thoughts about it.

At least i sign my name to my copies — i don’t even try to pass them off as the artist i copied  — that would be embarrassing.

My avatar is a copy i did and i had someone want to buy it from me.  I was so flattered! Such a sweet person. But i didn’t feel right about selling someone else’s copyrighted idea .  Or could I have sold it freely with no guilt? I painted it freehand. I signed my name. I freely and loudly give Michael lang credit.  I don’t know. There was an ethical line there for me.
