    As some of you know, i watch gamers game. Apparently there has been some wild age restricting and bans that aren’t consistent and gamers are crazed.. 

    I’ve been watching their videos addressing the issue and they are smart and fair. Hilarious at times. And they absolutely have it right that youtube sucks

    Now, i do think things need to be age restricted sometimes. But the key is it has to be fair and across the board.   An honest to goodness policy that applies to all, not just cherry picked who gets in trouble and who doesn’t. 

    i know people who let their kids watch without really paying attention to their clicks that can lead to sketchier content.  parents aren’t parenting anymore. They clutch their pearls about their kids and their rights, but they really don’t give a shit. It’s all about them.  

    So, where I’m going with this β€” in the last couple days Twitch (where gamers go to livestream games with comment feeds live) had someone come in and have sex a couple days ago. That person, instead of being banned got a 7 day suspension.
    (And apparently sex stuff slips into comments scrolling by all the time that Twitch doesn’t catch.) i don’t watch Twitch gaming, i  just watch uploaded youtubes, but the twitch policies and youtube policies seem to pretty much crap on consistency. 

    the hypocrisy? A gamer can play a game with animated boobs showing and get banned for life.  This girl? Full on sex showing it all β€” 7 day ban. And she is not a big money maker for twitch that they are protecting.  

    There is so much i want to say.  Just, if you have young kids, be careful letting them freely watch live gaming.
