Am I officially an old lady now because I took a pair of scissors and trimmed the grass around my trees instead of getting out the weed whacker?   I honestly just didn't have the energy to lug all that equipment out.  

I sat on my ass, in the shade, and trimmed the grass.  

Hey! wax on, wax off -- snatch the scissors from my hand -- there was something very zen about it.

I just bought myself school supplies.  Am I in school?  No.  But I love school supplies -- more specifically, paper and pens.  I have a huge weakness for paper and pens. 

I go on vacation and while others are looking for t-shirts, I look for stationery stores with pretty papers, cards and pens that write like buttah.

I love autumn.  It will forever be my favorite time of year because it means school supplies and learning new things to me.

I think that's when kids are still sweet and love their teachers, but old enough to not be wiping snot on you.

She loves it!! Of course this year is a bit different as was the end of last school year. Damn pandemic mucking things up..

Just catching up on posts-- oh that is my daughter to the max.  Can't pass up the pen aisle no matter when or where. Paper-- I never need to buy any, just raid her closet supply!!
I'm a scratch pad nut-- notes are a must!

I was never a glue eater. What i did was take the plastic crayon box that crayons used to come in and i would pour the glue into it and let it set for days. Then i would peel the square of glue out and cut fake fingernail shapes out and lick them and stick them on my nails so i looked all Elvira-y.
