  • FROM THE BORDERLANDS was the #19 bestseller at my local grocery store. The grocery store!

If this keeps up you will have your own entourage soon!
  • The book will be going in the Bestsellers section at the bookstore I work at.

I have nothing to do with that.

Has any contributors received their copy from Warner yet or am I actually going to have to buy one?

    Bill
  • Haven't received mine yet.

  • I didn't get a contrib copy (yet) either--I bought my own copy.
  • This is my personal copy ;)

  • We're still hanging in there on the USA Today list: #90 today.

Did you get a FROM THE BORDERLANDS paperback contrib copy? That was what we were mentioning above.
  • I got my copy today, Bev. You should be receiving yours shortly, if you haven't already.

Can you believe it took me this long to get with the program and finally register with this new site of yours?

    Change frightens me...
  • Thanks for the update, Lori. Glad you signed on! Hope to see you around from time to time.
  • Welcome back Lori! :)
  • I received my contributor copy yesterday!

Ron Horsley reviews the anthology rather harshly at his Midnighters Club web site. He does have some kind words to say about a few of the stories, including mine, which he calls "humorous but unsettling."
  • Wow - I guess Mr. Horsley (Harshly) is entitled to his opinion! To each his own!
  • Darn.  It's down to #104 on the USA TODAY list.

    Got my contributor copy, though.

  • Finished reading this today. A really solid book with many excellent stories. My personal favourite would have to be Barry Hoffman's - Time For Me. A sad and poignant tale of loneliness. It was very well written and key moments - like the boy on the park bench - were really well set up.

  • Good review of the anthology in issue 238 of Fangoria. The issue has part one of an interview with King on the cover, so it might draw some renewed interest.

I received the final installment of my advance for the paperback sale last night.
  • Lee Thomas reported seeing a backlit ad in a New York subway car for From the Borderlands, with a prominent tag line announcing it as a Bram Stoker Award winner.

That's so cool Bev, I wish I was in New York to see. :)

  • Very cool! Subway ads. Wow.

  • Here is the Best of Borderlands 1-5 table of contents. I'm thrilled to be included with such luminary authors!
  • Congratulations, Bev! When I read the ToC and saw your name, I was thrilled that you'd been included. Well deserved.

  • I just finished Borderlands 5 today. I liked your story quite a lot, Bev! As a matter of fact, I found it one of the most interesting in the book.
