    Got myself into a project. It’s been a loonnnngggg time since I got jacked about something. 

    My main bathroom needs a good refresh.  The walls and ceiling got painted and now, I am redoing the cabinets. 

    Since all the cabinets in there are serious built-in solid wood, I’m leaving them. At one point, I was going to gut the bathroom, but after gutting master bath and bedroom last year — And it is beautiful! — I do not have the patience for how long that takes. 

    So, I am going to paint these cabinets. Paint is an easy perk-up and if you hate it, you can change it.  I am using a product called Beyond Paint.  It’s expensive for how little you THiNK you are getting. It seriously goes a long way.  Self leveling, no brush strokes. Goes on so smooth and you don’t need to strip, sand, prime. You only have to clean and degrease.  

    But, I did sand. I didn’t have to.  I really wanted a solid clean surface though. So quick, they are looking frigging amazing. 

    I also don’t have to seal, but again, water area so I will do a light coat of sealer. 

    Now. As long as I don’t ADHD glitch out, a couple days and it will be a whole new space.

    it is really amazing what simple upgrades, done nicely, can do for a space.

    The real horrorshow of today started in the morning when i burnt myself on the frying pan. Somehow i forgotten it was hot in spite of the things in it sizzling. Oh, well....

    Another cooking accident today.....  I was making dinner and added some spices when it started to itch slightly in mu right eye. So, without thinking, i rubbed it slightly and managed to pass some chili powder on to my eyeball. Not something i recommend trying. A wonder i managed to see enough through the tears that followed without making a total mess out of the dinner. Now its ok but it felt like a tiny icepick in my eye for awhile. Crying helps!!!!

    Oh god! You poor thing.😳 I've done the same thing when cooking with raw chillies grown in my garden. 😭
