Started Murderbot — Bev, any chance of a transcript of your interview, or maybe you could share some surprises/insights/things of interest?
    Nine Perfect Strangers — hulu
season 4 of Welcome to Wrexham. Also hulu?

Alas my interview wasn't recorded. The main thing I remember her saying about the series was that they had to add things that weren't in the novella to fill out a full season. She was limited in what she was allowed to talk about because the show hadn't debuted yet.

  • Bloodline - Netflix
    Another really good show.

  • I wonder what Emily's earth-shattering revelation is going to be. Just one episode left to go.
Can't say I was impressed by how it ended.

    Good show

  • Started The Day of The Jackal. The 10 part miniseries from 2024. An updated version of Forsyths novel and the movie from the 70,s. Just beginning but one thing thats very clear is that Eddie Redmayne is very good as the assassin in the lead.

I read the book long ago. I remember thinking it was good.

  • Re-watched Dracula.

A three part adaptation, I vaguely remembered watching it when it came out in 2020 and I liked it. On this re-watch I thought it started off well but when they brought it in to modern day in episode 3 I started to lose interest. I still enjoyed it to some degree especially the first two episodes, the cast are all good, especially Claes Bang in the title role.

  • I'm three episodes into S2 of The Last of Us. Ep2 is epic and tragic.

Interesting. I got to 3 and quit. I can’t put my finger on why really.

Ardall O ‘Hanlon plays Det. Inspector Jack Mooney on the show Death in paradise.

I just realized he plays a very young, dumb priest in Father Ted.

  • Dept Q on Netflix is going well after 3 episodes. Set in Scotland with lots of familiar actors. The main character is a bit of a dick but he’s learning. I really like the Syrian assistant.

I am watching this. I googled to find out what is wrong with william, merritts brother. Did I miss this information in the first episode? i am not finding anything that isn’t connected to major spoilers, unless this information is a major spoiler, what happened to William? I’m not reading anything that will ruin the whole series.

  • And, learned a new word — opprobrious

Opprobrious" means expressing reproach or shame, often in a mean or offensive way. It describes something that is deserving of dishonor, disgrace, or scorn. Synonyms include "abusive," "disgraceful," and "shameful".

  • Dept Q was great. I loved the ragtag group. And Carl should feel better in his head after his selfless act.
