    Gorgeous christmas scene.  I wish I had a fireplace.
    ....I damn near cut Tracy's index finger off chainsawing wood for our fireplace....pure accident, and luckily it only ripped her glove.....but I bet you don't have to concentrate to figure out what finger I got for doing it....
    OMG!!!! So glad it didn't go badly, you both must have been so terrified?! 
    This nearly happened to me a while back too... friggen scary!

    No, never.  Especially this year.  Anything that brings a little joy and happiness, a smile and good feelings is a great thing.  I say, let her put up the tree. What does it hurt?

    I hope mom gives it the green light.  The fact she asked means she needs something happy and hopeful to enjoy.  Sitting by the pretty lights, dreaming of wonderful things. 

    My neice put their tree up this last weekend because her little boys were just so needing something magical!  It looks great.

    I've finished the Christmas shopping for the Munchkin.  Have in mind what I'm purchasing for Mom, and need to get the ornaments finished up to give the neighbors instead of treat boxes this year.

    I have been really thinking about putting our tree up now. Everyone does need a bit of cheer I think, and maybe that would help. 

    The kids are out of school tomorrow for Veteran's Day. Maybe we can make that our project. 😃 

    I can already hear, "Mom!" Not to mention the looks from Scott when he gets home from work. 

    I need some cheer. I think we all do.

    Nothing quite that exciting.   I hiked every day the weather allowed, but right after posting the pics here, the wind and rain destroyed the peak colors. I had to move on today  finding the old churches and graveyards to photograph.   We actually were able to splash the kayaks in the river over the weekend.   I've been working on digitizing a sock monkey face to embroider on some masks. Work has slowed down to almost nothing, so I've been doing crafts and hanging out close to home.
    Bought myself a nice Christmas gift, and asked Mom for a holster for Christmas.  

    .....if I had been seeing Sixx all this time, you would have seen the photos already  ;)

    I say, it's okay.  Again, especially this year.   A christmas tree is all sorts of hugs.

    The kid and I would love to put up the tree early but we will be overruled, there's no way it's going to be getting put up until maybe a week or two before Christmas. 
    (We could do with it... this is a sh1tty time of year for anniversaries, we just had grandma's at the weekend, little nana's and poppa's are coming up... ugh, Christmas is harder now than it used to be.)

    ....missed you to honey, muchly!.....we mini-Griswolded the Ranch yesterday, was sunny and 76-so primo day, and we got us an 8 foot tree out front-nuttin' fancy, and we sit so far off the road, no one else will see it but us-and frankly, that's just ok.  Tracy and I need the boost.....more to do, but it can be done under cover and not in the cold November rain.....

    Yes, the 15th... Sunday.  She loved that card girl... and it made me cry when we read it together. It lives on my mantelpiece now, next to her photo. 💜
