Me, too. And I bought several of them again when my kids were in elementary school, for them! Loved her books so much.

I know there were a few of us that followed April the giraffe as we awaited the birth of her baby(ies).

She was euthanized due to arthritis.  She was 20 years old.

Oh so many tragedies along with the successes, need a heart of steel to cope with all things TinyKittens, my heart of marshmallow just can't cope with it.

I think there may have been a link to TK in the April chat, it hooked me right in... but I don't bounce back from sadness and loss so well these days.

Steinman wrote a lot of good songs.... I'd do anything for love, Holding out for a hero, Total eclipse of the heart,...  He will be missed. RIP
