Hadn't seen this before but it was quite good.

  • I saw this before but forgot about it. Glenn Close was very good. It says it was based on a true story. Plenty of cussing if you need to build your vocabulary.

  • Counterstrike 2025 Rotten Tomatoes....lots of action, but Hispanic Godzilla-like dialogue dubbing....

  • My Homicide: Life on the Street rewatch ends with this:

  • ....caught two over the weekend.....

Significant Other 2022 - Movie Review Filthy Horrors The Writing of Zachary Strupp....sci-fi/horror, kinda goofy-but watchable.....

GI Joe Retaliation....fun watch, and by the end-I needed to wipe a film of testosterone off the TV screen....

  • Re-watched Needful Things.

A mysterious stranger arrives Iin town and opens a shop which has objects that people desire and will give anything to obtain, but in doing business with the stranger they realise that there's a heavy price to pay for their hearts desire.....

As with a lot of King adaptations this is a hit and miss affair,  it has a superb cast and the performances are fine but it just didn't keep me gripped, it just lost something in translation for novel to screen.

  • Midnight in the Switchgrass 2021 - IMDb...not awesome, but not horrible either.....
    Hedda GablerNotaroKurben
  • Jack the Giant Slayer 2013 - IMDb....fun fantasy romp.....

  • Watched Silent Zone.

During a zombie outbreak a man rescues a young girl, as the years pass they become a formidable team and fight their way across country trying to find a safe haven.

It's just awful, don't waste your time.

  • The Dark Knight Rises Video Game 2012 - IMDb....a bit bloated (kinda like me)....but overall, not to shabby.....

  • Re-watched, Alone In The Dark.

A group of inmates escape from an asylum to find and kill a doctor who they believe has killed their previous psychiatrist....

A favourite of mine, great cast, decent performances, it's like comfort food to me.

  • Watched Timeline with Gerard Butler and Paul Walker in the male leads and Anna Friel and Frances o Connor on the female leads. A SciFi timetravel actionthriller built upon Crichtons book of the same name from 1999. The movie is from 2003 but did not know they made a movie out of the book. Stays reasonably true to the original but unlike the book the storytelling gets confused sometimes. 2,5 out of 5.

  • Watched a b-horror movie that surprisingly was quite ok. Low budget but there was some thought put in the storyline. Starting with the ruthless massacre of a "gypsy" camp in 1880 france over a land claim. That backfires unsurprisingly the responsible are in for a nasty time. We, the audience, has little empathy for theones who started but their innocent wifes and kids are a different matter. Ok, some subpar special effects here and there but overall a much better than average lowbudget horror flick. Netflix

  • Watched Jesus Christ Superstar as a way of celebrating Easter. The movie from 1973. With Ted Neeley, Carl Anderson and Yvonne Elliman as Jesus, Judas and Mary Magdalene and they are all excellent. More than 50 years since it was made but it stands the test of time very very well i think.
