Everyone Comes to Rex
My story Everyone Comes to Rex is in the new anthology In the Outpost of Beyond. The anthology is described like this:
”Rex” is a direct riff on Casablanca and I had fun writing it. It's been a while since I read it -- the antho's been in production for quite a while -- so I look forward to seeing my contributor's copy. There's a link to one place where you can buy it if you're so inclined (click on the cover) on my fiction page and I hear it will also be at Shocklines.
As for the cover, well, hmmm....
I got my contributor's copy in the mail today. I haven't had a chance to look through it yet, though. One of the other contributor's is Ralan, who is famous among the genre for his market listing web page (www.ralan.com).
In the Outposts of Beyond is a trade paperback anthology of stories and poems centered around taverns, trading posts, and watering holes in the Universe. Assassins and refugees, corporate hierarchs and minions, ghosts and shadows, escort you through the fortunes and glories of the worlds of Beyond. Think Casablanca in Outer Space, complete with Ricks and Ilsas and Victors...and Peter Lorres.
