Bev,
Thanks for the reminder! I will be tuning in!

This is where life gets tricky -- this particular Thursday night, we have Kingdom Hospital of course, but will I get lucky and CSI will be a repeat again? No hockey till tomorrow, BUT, the finale of The Apprentice is also on--that's okay, I'm sure the end result won't be until the final hour between 10-11. *sigh* I need PIP upon PIP on Thursday nights..

<~~ Crossing fingers that CSI is a repeat!!!! %)
Author: CRinVA
I really liked last night's episode - especially the surreal scene with the headless man taking a shower and the scene with the personal injury lawyer in the ER and the Drs/Nurses not wanting to do anything fearing they would be sued. Then Dr. Hook prepares an agreement and when they ask for a notary public there is one standing there ready to verify signatures. What a hoot!
And the convict that burnt himself up is still alive!!!!!!!!!
Author: Bev Vincent
Yeah, and I think the lawyer knows him -- maybe he even represented him and didn't get him off. He looked really scared to be in the same room with him.
Clear! as the notary stamps the chest instead of a defibrilator. Very campy and funny stuff.
Did you see the copy of RAGE that fell to the floor in Steg's office during the tremor? Janice McManus I'M.....IN....HELL! Then the scene with him taunting Hook about spooks and ghostly apparitions capped off with Blondi's appearance with the head. Excellent timing.

I missed the Rage cameo. I try to keep a watchful eye out for these little “in-jokes” but am usually so tired form a long days work that its all I can do to stay awake throughout the whole hour - ~0

SOOOOO glad I taped this one. And so glad I have two tvs!! On top of Kingdom Hospital being on at 9, CSI was NOT a repeat, and the show that I normally watch from 8-9 was on from 8:30-9:30!!! :@ Damn American Idol pre-empting stuff.
I need a TiVO.
Author: Lin242
For f***'s sake (sorry), I forgot totally about American Idol!! Who got the boot, does anyone know??? See, I only swear when I'm really annoyed, like I said.
Rache, we checked CSI also, saw it wasn't a repeat, but decided to go for Kingdom's Hospital and we'll have to put a vcr also on our upstairs tv. We figure we'll have the better chance of seeing CSI on the repeat in the summer.
I liked this episode very much, ESPECIALLY when the lawyer was in emerg. That was done so quick and snappy, very fun, and the notary, well that was brilliant.
I just cannot like Natalie Rickman, it gets worse every time. :~ Don't get me wrong, she's beautiful and a good actress, I just don't like her for the wife.
Missed the book, dammit, BUT, I was thinking New would be happy with all the cockroaches milling about.. gave me the willies.. too funny with the new janitoress taking notes about the rats...
All in all, I thought it was well done.

I don't follow American Idol but I read elsewhere that it was someone known as JPL. Does that mean anything to you?
I thought of Creepshow when I saw the roaches appear. I liked Janice's “Thou shalt not” version of Steg's instructions about the rats.
No Abel and Crista this week, nor Paul either.
Hook has this thing about Kleenex boxes...

Darn!!! I missed the book too! It flashed so quickly, I missed it totally. So it was King, huh? Well, I missed out on that too. Sure didn't sound like him to me, though I really wasn't waiting for that. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD, so I can catch up on all that I missed (@)
I really like the show. I hope they don't cancel it. In my excitemennt to watch Kingdom Hospital, I forgot ALL about CSI. til just now!! ~0
Author: Lin242
It certainly does Bev, thankya -- Jon Peter Lewis, how he ever got there I'm not sure, but he was a cutie, and that can go a long way. I'm not surprised.
Creepshow, the roaches thing - is that where a guy is stuck in a room and they are EVERYWHERE??? ~0 That was just wrong. I couldn't watch. Sort of like the movie Arachnaphobia, where they are crawling all over the walls and ceiling. I would literally drop dead (sorry new!)
I found it odd that Abel and Crista were in absentia also. I like their appearances. Well, I think Hook should be introduced to Dr. Phil because Dr. Phil NEVER has a kleenex box on his show. It drives me insane.

From King's message board:
This is as good a place as any to mention that I was mistaken about Stephen being the voice on the phone on last week's episode. Yes, it was him--he hadn't told me he had done this when he visited the set in Vancouver in March.

OMG... IT!! They had a child pyromaniac on CSI... ~0 ~0 Freaky.
Lin, I know there's a good chance of catching CSI reruns, but I also plan on purchasing Kingdom Hospital when it comes out as a dvd or tape. (I'm pretty sure I read that it will...)
It's the only way I can maintain my sanity.

I wish that Druse would hurry up and talk to Peter already. I got excited cause last night it LOOKED like she was gonna talk, but nothing.

Dr. Hook always has a Klenex box just about when someone tears up doesn't he?
I also thought about Creepshow when the cockroaches came out. And who was sitting in Johny B Goode's (is that right :? ) chair - was it Janis McManis or something like that. When I posted earlier I had forgotten that scene. I just love seeing Stegman's frustration at every turn of the corner!

In the first episode, Hook makes a trip around Peter's hospital room predistributing Kleenex boxes at strategic places so that no matter where Natalie finds herself, there's always one at hand.
At 9 p.m., the first half of the two-hour “Apprentice” finale posted a 16.1/25 for NBC, beating a first-run “CSI,” 14.6/23, on CBS. FOX held onto third with the conclusion of “Tru Calling,” 3.8/6, and a “Simpsons” repeat, 2.8/4. “Smackdown,” 3.0/5, moved up to fourth, beating “Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital” on ABC. The WB again trailed with an hour of “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.”

Bev, I noticed that right away because I used to do the same thing for my mom in the nursing home, I had like five boxes strategically placed in her room and would buy them 6 at a time on sale.
Smackdown was on at 9:00 p.m.? My Aunt is going to be ever-so-pissed (a funny line from a Simpsons episode on earlier last night). I told her it was on at 7:00 p.m., which it usually is. She is 86 and a life-long wrestling fan. I myself have seen 3 shows but I digress. What else is new?

It was my mother that got me into reading SK. When they were advertising Kingdom Hospital, I was thinking, “Aww, great... Another Rose Red...” If there's anyone who like Rose Red, sorry... I just thought it was a copy cat of another horrible movie, The Haunted (The one with Liam Neeson & Catherine Zeta Jones?). Anyway, so mom and I watched the first two hour premier, and I was floored!!! It was fantastic! Well, mom lasted another 3 episodes and stopped watching it. She says that she's getting too old for this stuff and that it's too scary. Of course, me being 25, I just can't comprehend what she's saying!!! I'm yelling at her saying, “BUT... BUT... IT'S STEPHEN KING, MOM!!!!” LOL!!! And I guess she just don't care anymore... Oh well. Actually, there's a lot of people I know that have stopped watching it. And I think I know why... People expected to see either a TV show that had a conclusion at the end, or they expected to see (And ABC was VERY dodgy about this for some reason...) a full-fledged mini-series that would end up being another 6-8 hour movie. They got neither, and they didn't like it. What they got was a Movie/TV show hybrid that's never (I don't think so at least) been tried before. It's going to be effectively a 15 (?) hour movie. Is SK cursed when it comes to special projects like this? I feel so sorry for the guy... He's just trying to give his fans something new, and it's being rejected by corporate pigs who are pissed and was replaced by ANOTHER “$$$REALITY$$$” SHOW to put in it's place. So they tossed it to the dogs of Thursday night ratings where they KNOW that it will not survive very long.
