King's cameo
open Bev Vincent King's cameo 246

The moderator of King's message board confirms that King will be doing a cameo that will air later in the season.

King Cameos are cool - all the more reason to stick with it. With the ratings dropping like flies on S$^%, will the Alphabet Net stick with the entire series? I sure hope so!
I'd hate to see another Golden Years or The Plant! I need closure!
Author: Bev Vincent
I'll bet ABC sticks with it. It's not like they've got anything better in the wings to replace it and in two months it will be over. Unless something radical happens, though, I doubt we'll see a season 2.

Rache,
Perhaps other folks would have been drawn in, BUT then we would be here complaining about King not getting any credit! ~0
I, for one, will be sticking with it, perhaps to the bitter end! There's enough quirkiness and weirdness and in-jokes in it for me to hang around. And a cameo - I love King Cameos! I think my favorate was the pizza delivery guy on Rose Red. I liked King in The Stand, but that was a bit more than a true cameo!

My favorite was probably the ATM guy from Maximum Overdrive, but King's bit in Rose Red may well qualify as one of the best scenes in the miniseries.

Too true, Bob. Yep, I'll be sticking with it too. But my VCR will be getting a workout. You see, I'm also a fan of Angel - which the WB for some insane reason has decided to cancel after this season. So, my loyalties are being shared - thank goodness for technology!! LOL

I watch so little TV that I never got into Angel - it looks like something that I would have gotten into though! I like the original CSI but don't even see all those - and if I am surfing the channels and see a Law & Order I usually watch it.
Lately my wife has been watching these extreme makeover shows - I must say that there seems to be no expense too large when it comes to the things they do for these people.
Also, my wife and daughter love the TLC channel and all the Trading Spaces type shows.
When I surf I always head to the Sci FI channel and work from there! I do like the cartoon The Family Life but again only see an episode now and then. KH is the first time in a long long time where I have been glued to the set at a specific time! Then when its over I check out the news and a half hour later or more I wake up and go to bed!

By far King's best cameo is as the Gave digger/Curator of the cemetary in Sleepwalkers.

Did anyone else catch when the hospital intercom paged Tabitha Spruce?
I got a kick out of that!
Author: CRinVA
I totally missed that! ~0
Author: Bev Vincent
I missed that, too. Apparently they paged Mia Dean to maternity in episode two.

Hopefully the entire season will eventually come out on DVD and I can leisurely re-watch the entire season and look for these type of things! Last night's episode was my least fav so far - although I did like the scence with Stegman and the street people - He is a nasty man he is!

It'll be out on DVD this fall.

I do believe you have ALL of the answers! ~0
Thanks!

Can we have a “WOOOHOOO”???
SOOO glad that there's a DVD in this show's future.

Although I want to make sure that the rest of the season doesn't completely tank, I can pretty much promise that I will be getting KH on DVD.

I don't really watch TV, so I've been missing the show, but I'm definitely going to be picking up the DVD to watch it all together.

As for the cameo, shall I drop a “spoiler”, or leave it as a suprise??
Author: Lin242
I'm bummed that I missed the Tabitha/Mia bits! That's awesome. I love when those types of references are in the show. My fave so far is The Emperor of Ice Cream.
I might actually get these on dvd. I'm one of the few very odd people (I guess) that doesn't collect Stephen King movies, just books. I don't even have A Stephen King movie. But now that dvd's are dropping in price (I saw IT for $9.99), perhaps..... I've seen them all, though.
CRinVA, aka Bob, I would fit right in at your house -- I LOVE Extreme Makeover, Trading Spaces, Clean Sweep, ... the EM drives Steve crazy, he can't abide the real stuff.
