Stephen King's Gotham Cafe was wisely placed in the excellent hands of Julie Sands, who produced and starred in this remarkable short film. She co-wrote the script, assembled a terrific cast, and ensured that the direction was perfect and the special effects awesome. This short film is one you won't soon forget, and maybe never. It's a superb debut. Ms. Sands has proven that she knows what she's doing with this short, and I look forward to her first full-length movie.
