On this thread, I will post festivals and conventions where Stephen King's Gotham Café will be shown.



Stephen King's Gotham Café has been invited to screen at the 2005 Northeastern Writers Conference (NECON) held in Rhode Island July 14-17. The top horror writers historically attend this conference as a retreat with their peers. This years attendees include Peter Straub, Douglas Clegg, Jack Ketchum, F. Paul Wilson and Douglas E. Winter.

    There is one thing that i don't understand ...

    Gail told me that there is only 1 35mm tape of the film.

    But now is Julie in Germany (i will see her 14 august in Koln) and 19 august in Baltimore Maryland.

    So there are more tapes right now.. ??

    There are two more chances to see Stephen King's Gotham Cafe on the East Coast. The first is this Sunday September 25th at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors at the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands in Secaucus New Jersey just outside of Manhattan. Gotham screens in the main auditorium at 6:00 PM. Before Gotham you can catch Clive Barker and then Mick Garris is previewing Desperation at 4:30. Should be a great event. One day tickets are $20 and info is at this link.



    Spread the word to your friends-this is probably the ONLY screening of Gotham in the New York area.



    Hope some of you can make it. If you do make sure you say hi and introduce yourself.



    The other screening of Gotham is our 'official' premiere in Bangor Maine on Friday September 30th at 8:00 PM in Cinema 10. A Q&A and special screening of Riding The Bullet follows. Tickets are only $8.00. This kicks off the 2nd Annual Dollar Baby Film Fest which continues on Saturday with panels, blocks of films and special guests like Rocky Wood. All proceeds benefit the Wavedancer Foundation. For more details go here.

    Stephen King's Gotham Café is screening in several cities in North America this week.

    Stephen King's Gotham Café will be screening Saturday, November 12th at 4:00 PM at the Crown Harbour Theatre in Annapolis Maryland as an official selection of the Annapolis Film Festival.



    Annapolis is in the DC Metro area and about an hour's train ride from Philadelphia. This is most probably the last screening on the East Coast.
