Later this year, when I've got Bev's book in hand as well, I'm going to (hopefully) do a re-read of all the DT books with the three references along for the ride. (If I ever get through all the other stuff I want to read, of course...)

Oh, btw - I was looking through Amazon last night and it turns out that there is an illustrated edition of 'Salem's Lot (Doubleday) appearing this November, just ahead of the H&S release of the same title, in December.
Is tempted to buy both ;D
Thanks,
John
Here is the link to the one I think DTUK mentioned. I'm not 100% sure if it's illustrated or if it's the same that is released in the US. I'm looking into it though.

The Hodder & Stoughton is a non-illustrated edition released this December. I've looked all over as well and have found very little information on the H&S edition.
Lilja had it right with the link to the UK edition of 'Salem's Lot - and what a great price too! - this is the one I've ordered.
Here's the link to the Illustrated Doubleday version being published in the UK:

Does anyone know if the illustrated version has pictures pertaining to the book, or are they more like mood pieces?
Mood pieces.
John
Ah, thanks, Bev - I believe I shall stick with the H&S version
