For French fans and writers

edited September 2004 in General news
This is a babelfish translation of a call for submissions for a French publication that will take articles in English:

Stephen King is currently, and without question, among one of the most popular American authors. His name is particularly evocative when one refers to the fantastic literature. Gerf (Group of studies and research on the fantastic) thus decided to devote to him a special edition in its Books. With this intention, the studies will be centered on the fiction of King only; cinematic analyses are excluded. On the other hand, studies of themes, sociological, psychological, biographical, mythical, linguistic, etc, will be welcome.

French and English are the languages of expression. It is highly recommended to send your article with a diskette and one CV recent to William Schnabel Directeur of Gerf, before September 1, 2005 (cut off date).

Format of the article: 10 to 15 pages; Times New Roman; characters 12 Pt; double spacing; left justified; surlignage of the calls of notes in the text for checking; to number the pages of the manuscript; file on diskette (PC or Mac, in Word or in format rtf).

N.B. Do not employ "ibid" or "op cit." in the footnotes; rather use abbreviations in the body text to make reference to a work or document. The text must be accessible and easy to read.

The selected articles will be published in IRIS/the Books of Gerf (2006).
