    Thanks go to Lilja for providing a link to the WB website which now has a DVD link for 'Salem's Lot (reported in lilja's newsletter) - and I must say this is the first glimpse of the new mini-series I have so far seen and seeing a clip of what you have already seen, I had to air my first impressions.



    Damn spooky it looks! :o



    The atmosphere and the music and the clips used were really effective in formulating a dark and foreboding manner, where I believe this version has the potential to freak me out as much as the first one did! :o



    I've seen plenty of vampire movies over the decades, and seen alot of blood and gore and read alot of vampire books, but damn if this doesn't just make your blood run cold, seeing Ralphie Glick at Danny's window asking to be let in. :o



    It still hasn't aired here in the UK and it may well be that we'll see the DVD release here before it actually appears on TV.
