New fake Stephen King signatures site/forum
Finally! Someone has created a website to identify all the fake Stephen King "signed" books on ebay and a forum to discuss the crooks who try getting away with selling the same obviously fake signed books every week. This site not only lists the fake signed books currently on ebay (that is when the webmaster has time to update the site), but it names names of sellers who get away with continouisly selling forged signatures. Guides for identifying authentic signatures are listed on the site, as is a signature evaluation service provided by top ebay sellers and known King "super collectors" and dealers. This site is not only geared for the King completists but also for the beginning collector wanting to purchase their first signed King book.
Years ago I founded the Stephen King Collectors Club on Yahoo and since then there hasn't been a formal discussion group geared to the serious King collector....until now.
