Hodder to publish 25th anniversary edition of On Writing
Hodder & Stoughton will publish a 25th anniversary hardback edition of Stephen King’s On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft on 17th July 2025.
The release of this new "Stephen King Classic" edition follows the publication of a new edition of Carrie in 2024.
In the book, King offers "a revealing and practical view of the writer’s craft", exploring the "experiences, habits, and convictions that have shaped him and his work". It will include King’s foreword "On Joy", which was first published in 2024 in the 2020 paperback edition.
