Cujo remake

Netflix has made a deal to turn Cujo into a new feature film. Roy Lee is producing, and they will go out to writers immediately.

    A new report at The Insneider is claiming that famed “Black Swan” and “The Whale” director Darren Aronofsky is in negotiations to direct the new film adaptation of Stephen King’s “Cujo” at Netflix.

    If it happens, it will mark Aronofsky’s first scripted feature for a streaming service, and one of the latest high-profile filmmaker to have tackled a Stephen King adaptation in recent years. The project was announced just the other week.

    Soomehow i have difficulties seeing Aronofsky getting a good performance from a dog. And lets face it, the dog has to be good for the movie to be good. I'm sure this is just some silly bias from me. I wish the project all the best.

    I know everyone can do new things with old stuff and it can be terrific. But my time is running out, I want new SK stuff from all those good stories never done, waiting… waiting… waiting.
