I’ve been sort of browsing info on all these platforms since Twit is going tits up.  Interesting stuff. 

The only one that collects no info is Mastodon. This new Threads that opened, Zuck’s thing, collects so much personal data it’s crazy! The users were likened to Charlie Brown taking another run at the football. 

Bluesky is just bad Twitter 2.0, just sneakier about it.  

Don’t be dumb. You choose to join, great. At least go in with eyes wide open.

Bluesky is a mess. People are being allowed to sign up using slurs as user names.   Sounds like an upstanding place. 

Plus, apparently you sign rights away so they can use your content. 

Again, the new Threads wants all your information and access to everything. Phones, cameras, contacts, google searches and a whole laundry list of stuff. 

So, where are the grifters to sell new and improved burner phones to anyone who needs a clean way to post?
