You made me think about my granddad today Bev. 

My granddad was a genius. I’m not just saying that. He was absolutely brilliant. 

As a kid, i was lucky enough to be aware that he was unique and I spent hours talking to him. He was fascinating and had a fascinating life. I wish with every ounce of my being he was here to talk to because my questions would be better. 

So, having said this — I ordered 2 copies of Cain’s Jawbone.  If he were here, we would be eyeballs deep into this. Right up his alley.  And I would have been his willing helper. 

Makes me wonder if he was aware of this at the time.  His time.  Unfortunately those genius genes didn’t make it to me, so I could never figure it out. But i bought two copies for my sons.  Who knows, some day when they are old men with grandkids, maybe they will be drawn to the mystery.  Maybe spend time with a little granddaughter who believes the sun rises and sets in them and embark on a grand adventure of “who done it,” together. 

I miss my people.

Wasn’t that great?  they were just so joyful — and they all knew the right one. 

It was interesting too. Some dogs picked exactly what you thought they would. Then you get some big guy who picked some  little thing. 

We need to remember to be this  happy  and grateful.
