This was beautiful.  Sort of quiet and sad, but beautiful.

I've heard the Orson Welles version before but never heard this, husband and wife team of Laughton and Lanchester.

I missed this one somehow.  Listened to it today.  Good stuff.

  • New song from Norah Jones

She started off as a lounge singer and you can definitely see where she would sing a great Torch song.  Love her throaty voice.

Yes I did. Just finished it.  I really liked the voice actors for this one.

Now I'm going to listen to the Sherlock Holmes you posted.

I like these 30 minutes sips of drama!

Glad you liked it, the actor who played the older Kipps is John Woodvine, you may remember him as the doctor in An American Werewolf In London. Enjoy the Sherlock Holmes,I had a giggle at the Oirish accents on display.

....I have listened to him since the very beginning, and spun a ton of his vinyl in my DJ salad days.....plus, I have a tremendous "Ultimate" collection in my truck CD player right now.....if there was a rock soundtrack for life, Bob would sing it.....
