An old swedish tradition (or perhaps nordic countries) is Lucia. We kidnapped a sicilian saint and made her to a bringer of light in the darkness. Every year in every school and many churches and workplaces this song is heard and a little concert held. About half an hour of Lucia songs on work/school time. And i think it is beautiful.
