....I used to joke around quite a bit about "The Range" when Hornsby first hit in '85.  I was spinning "The Way It Is" all the time during my DJ shifts and always managed to come up with a different appliance to put Bruce with....you know, Bruce Hornsby & The Microwaves, Bruce Hornsby and the Blenders, Bruce Hornsby and the Fridge...etc...yeah buddy, I thought I was hilarious....the listening public, probably not so much....

I feel like I almost knew what it would have been like to be a child of the 60's there for a moment. 

My wife, daughter and I saw "the dude" (Simon Posford) live/solo at the House of Blues several years ago. I first heard of him when he collaborated on a song or two with Alan Parsons on his A Valid Path album.

I particularly like this one below, where the guy is playing the Hang (drum) featured in the Manu Delago video.
