A Kingdom that didn't Come

edited July 2004 in General news
There is a new Pop of King Column in Entertainment Weekly this week. I haven't seen it yet but the name of the article is the name of this thread. :D

  • It's in the July 9 issue (#773) with Michael Moore on the cover. As the title suggests, King explains why Kingdom Hospital didn't go over so well with viewers.

"Kingdom Hospital is a novel, not a bit-size TV series. We asked viewers to give us a week or two. That was more than most were willing to give." -- Stephen King
  • He almost sounds apologetic, but I liked the opportunity to hear how he felt about writing it, watching it and then the show's somewhat demise.

I'm still going to buy KH when it comes out.
  • Me too Rache, specially since I missed two episodes! :)
  • the UK has the most unbelieveable times for showing KH!

The BBC (Bloody Bastard Cunts) have been showing the SAME episode for the past _3_ weeks! and when you are trying to catch up on things after missing a week (which an argument with a certain musical Rat had ensued) i was left confused as to what i had seen and whats still ahead?!

THEN the satalite decides to bugger about with the timings and delay the 'new' episode by about 35 mins without mentioning and against what the television papers say!

As soon as this is out on DVD, i can assure you, its bought!
