PLEASE tell me this is NOT the British Mark Kermode?

He is the worlds WORST movie reviewer for he spoiled 'blair witch project for the british public when he said BEFORE it was released here that they were all actors!

For this i shall NEVER EVER watch a movie he will back!
  • This is going to be hard NOT to buy, even though I already own the bare-bones DVD. The book and the documentaries sound great. We'll see how October is looking...

  • A big-screen breakout for ‘Shawshank Redemption’

Talk about redemption. A film that quietly left theaters and then became a hit on home video, "The Shawshank Redemption," returns to theaters for a two-week run Sept. 24 in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle and Austin. A 10th-anniversary DVD edition of the film arrives Oct. 5 ($26.99) with a wealth of extras.

"We couldn’t beg people to go see this movie when it first came out," says Frank Darabont, who directed Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman in the prison tale, based on a Stephen King short story. "The (Motion Picture) academy really galloped to our rescue" with seven Oscar nominations (but no wins) in 1995.

In addition to a new film transfer, the movie has a Dolby Digital surround-sound mix. Darabont provides a commentary, and there are two documentaries about the film, plus an episode of "The Charlie Rose Show" with Darabont, Freeman and Robbins. -- Mike Snider
