Thrillers: 100 Must Reads, edited by David Morrell and Hank Wagner, is now with the publisher, Oceanview Publishing, and should be out as a hardcover in July 2010. My entry is an essay about Thomas Harris's Red Dragon.



The book is a fund raiser for the ITW (International Thriller Writers).

Thrillers: 100 Must Reads was nominated for an Edgar Award. On his Facebook thread, co-editor David Morrell said: Jim Fusilli and Bev Vincent are 2 contributors to THRILLERS: 100 MUST READS (on Jack London's THE SEA WOLF and Thomas Harris's RED DRAGON, respectively). Thanks to both of you and to the other 98 essayists. All of your names should be on the nomination. As you know, this was a huge undertaking, 5 years in preparation.
