Frickin’ politics. Pre-empted Jericho the other night for Texas primary results. I rolled the tape and all I got was numbers and talking heads.
End of rant.
Thanks to modern technology, I was able to watch the episode at cbs.com on my laptop. The show is getting better, but I have to wonder if it hasn’t gotten a little too big for its britches. There’s a helluva lot of plot to wrap up in the few remaining episodes of this abbreviated second season.
The big twist on Big Brother was fairly obvious, though their choice to execute it in the midst of an eviction was inspired. If the show was going to last any longer, they had to find a way to generate more potential evictees. The final tally for the second vote was no surprise, either. Unanimity without any collusion. I wonder who will be coming back. There’s a pernicious side to me that wants it to be the most contentious contestant, but on the other hand I don’t like seeing some of the train wrecks these people create.
I picked up my copy of The Long Road Home last night. The comic store owner was kind enough to throw in a free bookmark and the promo wall poster for this issue in mint condition. Cool beans. I still haven’t quite gotten the hang of graphic novels. There’s too much of some stuff and not enough of others for me to want to read anything other than the few stories I’m interested in.
It’s LOST day. Yippee! As soon as each new episode ends, I find myself pining for the next. Not many shows have that effect on me.
