Watched Eureka last night. Continues to be a good show. Apparently my word-of-mouth at NECON was enough to get someone else hooked on it. Spread the news! I have a hard time looking at Olivia d’Abo as anything but sinister, though, after her repeat appearances as Bobby’s nemesis on Law and Order: CI. The way she says “Bobby” as if it were “poppy” or “puppet”.
I’ve started rolling out on Onyx Reviews some of my older reviews from the days when I wrote for the Conroe Courier. This is going to take some time, because there are over 150 of them. If you’re interested in the latest additions, go to here and scroll to the bottom, where it says “Archives.” I’m going to be reviewing The Queen of Bedlam in the near future and I wanted to link to my review of Speaks the Nightbird, which is what got me started down this path. It’s nice, mindless work for when I’m watching mindless TV.
This morning I wrote the first half of the introduction essay I need to get finished soon. Sometimes it’s easier to lie than tell the truth. All those nasty little details that have to be right.
