No, I’m not commenting about Falwell—just read a rumor that Jericho won’t be back in the fall. Shoot. That’s like canceling The Lord of the Rings just when they’re getting ready for the battle of Helm’s Deep.
Picked up a copy of Rue Morgue #67 today for my first glimpse of my first article with them. Pretty cool! I also received my contributor copy of Livre des Livres de Stephen King last night, too. It’ll put my rusty high school French to the test to read my own article.
I stayed up later than usual to watch Law and Order: CI so I took the morning off from writing and slept in. 6:30 — woo-eee! Roy Schieder was excellent on CI as a serial killer on death row who tries to push off his date with the lethal injection by providing info about other possible victims. One of his revelations put Goran through the wringer. I think the same episode runs again tonight, for some odd reason.
Received an ARC of On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwen last night. Definitely one of the books I’ll be taking with me for my upcoming flight to Tokyo.
