Fly Ajira — the friendly skies

AjiraDay three of training. One left to go. My butt is turning square, I think.

Tonight’s Lost was interesting. After a couple of weeks of mandatory backfill, we finally get to the good stuff. Seeing Sawyer stepping up to the plate and taking a leadership role is nice piece of reversal, especially during his domestic scene with Sawyer/LaFleur. I have a sneaking suspicion that Sayid’s self-proclaimed mission (as seen in the preview for next week) has to do with the little boy who brought him the sandwich.

And Frank comes through in the crunch again. That guy can fly like he was born with wings.

Eclipse by Richard North Patterson is a very ambitious book. It has a depth of plot that makes me exhausted to simply think about what must have gone into writing it.

I’m almost done with it. I posted my review for When Will There Be Good News? by Kate Atkinson. This is the third book I’ve read by her, and I can’t wait for the next one. Gutsy approach to fiction.

Sad news about Natasha Richardson. She was two years younger than me. How quickly things can change, and for no apparent reason. Makes one think.
