First, there’s the Boston Legal approach, where you wrap up all the loose ends and send the characters on vacation. Gone fishin’. Brilliant. (I liked Denny’s aside about using the same law firm on both sides to save on the costs of hiring guest stars, too). And then there’s the Criminal Minds approach, where you go out with a bang. Literally. I looked at the clock and realized there were only a few minutes left in the episode and I knew there was no way they were going to wrap this convoluted storyline up. As soon as they went all split-screen/montage, I knew what was coming. No fair! Now we have to wait months to find out who was in the SUV. Wah.
I made strong progress editing the novel over the past couple of days. I even did a chapter last night, which is unusual.
